Dentures

Dentures are dental prosthesis designed to replace missing teeth. Unlike permanent solutions like dental implants, a denture can be taken out and put back into your mouth. There are 2 types of dentures: partial and full.

Partial Dentures

A partial denture is used when one or several natural teeth remain healthy in the lower or upper jaw. It is designed to fit around healthy teeth and can be either fixed or removable.

Full Dentures

A full denture is designed to replace teeth after they have all been removed (due to tooth decay or gum disease) or lost. Full dentures can either be conventional or immediate. The former is used when all the teeth have been removed and the gums have healed (usually about 3 months after teeth removal). Immediate dentures, on the other hand, are placed immediately after complete teeth removal.
